WHO WE ARE
The Worksite Wellness Council of Louisville began as the worksite wellness committee of former Mayor Greg Fischer’s Healthy Hometown Movement which met regularly to discuss how to assist employers in developing effective worksite wellness programs. In re-branding itself as the Worksite Wellness Council of Louisville, it has focused its energies on providing employers with educational activities and resources to develop and grow their wellness programs.

Heels or gym shoes—there’s not much in between! I love lifting weights and have even made a couple of trips to the Olympia World Fitness Expo in Vegas, but I’ve learned that some of the greatest strength we build has nothing to do with what we can lift.

Bio: Some of the best wellness habits aren't complicated. They happen through simple choices like nourishing our bodies, moving more, connecting with others, and finding joy in everyday moments. Helping people discover those habits is one of my favorite things about working in corporate wellness. Most days, you'll find me chasing my kiddos, exploring the great outdoors, and appreciating the little moments that make each day an adventure.

Exploring a local restaurant or coffee shop, tackling a DIY project, and spending time with my husband are a few of my favorite things! I’ve checked a couple of ultramarathons off my bucket list, but my pace is a little more laid-back these days. Though I’ve traded in the long runs, I still love staying active, learning about wellness, and watching a good DIY video that convinces me, “I could do that!”

Fun fact about me: I can go from training in martial arts and preparing for HYROX to designing websites, doing photography, and working on creative projects, all while juggling college and everything else life throws at me. I guess you could say I like keeping myself busy and trying a little bit of everything!
